A Message from Mary Reynolds Thompson, Founder, Write the Damn Book!

I believe we sense the call to write a book long before we say yes to it. Sometimes we need a little nudge––or even a rather large push––to get moving.

That’s why I developed Write the Damn Book! A coaching program that moves you from procrastination to publication.

If writing a book was as simple as getting our ideas down on paper, you wouldn’t need help. But it is much more than that. It is a heroic journey that introduces you to your most magical, creative self and to your demons and detractors.

How you approach writing your books is a mirror for how you live your life. What keeps you stuck and what makes you strong feature loud and clear in the creative process. That’s why it helps to have support, accountability, and a brainstorming partner who can help you write the book you really want to write.

Today, most of my time is taken up with writing my own books and delivering classes based on their content, but I still take on a few, select non-fiction clients. These are people whose ideas I believe in and who, like me, are willing to do what it takes to Write the Damn Book!

If you think you might be one of them and would like to reach out to me for a free 20-minute consultation:

Mary’s Award-Winning Book

In the pages of Reclaiming the Wild Soul, the forests and mountains, the deserts and the oceans, the rivers and the grasslands find their voice. Once heard, we can never forget what they have to say. Nor do we want to. May we all follow the summons and embark on such a journey. Thompson’s field guide illuminates the way.” —Clare Dakin, Founder, TreeSisters

“Woven with enchanting stories and wise counsel, Reclaiming the Wild Soul lavishly supports us, at this time of global crisis/opportunity, to return, emboldened, to Earth and to our own human wildness.” —Bill Plotkin, author of Wild Mind: A Field Guide to the Human Psyche and Soulcraft: Crossing into the Mysteries of Nature and Psyche
